NOC Technician (Overnight)

About the role
FaultLine is hiring a NOC Technician (Overnight) on our Operations team. You will work with experienced operators on systems that real customers depend on every day.
What you will do
- Monitor the network 24/7 and respond to alerts within SLA.
- Diagnose and triage layer 1–3 issues across fiber, cable, and wireless plant.
- Coordinate with field crews for dispatch.
- Write clear incident timelines and customer-facing comms.
- Drive postmortems and follow-up actions.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years in a NOC, SOC, or similar 24/7 operations role.
- CCNA-level (or equivalent) understanding of routing and switching.
- Experience reading optical light levels, MER, and DOCSIS diagnostics.
- Calm, methodical demeanor under load.
- Comfort with overnight or weekend shifts.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the Southwest market.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Prior ISP, telco, or hyperscaler experience.
- Open source contributions in adjacent areas.
