Terms of service
Effective March 1, 2024. These terms govern your use of FaultLine internet, TV, and voice services.
1. Agreement
By activating service, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy, acceptable use policy, and (for business customers) the SLA. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 or older to purchase service. You are responsible for activity on your account, including any equipment you connect.
3. Service
We provide the service described in your plan, on a best-effort basis except where an SLA explicitly applies. Speeds quoted are typical wired speeds; Wi-Fi and end-device speeds vary.
4. Equipment
Rented equipment remains property of FaultLine. You must return it within 30 days of service cancellation. Damage beyond reasonable use may be billed at replacement cost.
5. Fees, taxes, and billing
Service is billed monthly in advance. Taxes and government surcharges are passed through at cost. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file. Late payments may incur a $15 late fee and may result in service suspension.
6. Term and cancellation
Residential plans are month-to-month. You may cancel any time. Business plans typically include a term commitment; early termination may incur a fee disclosed at signup.
7. Acceptable use and suspension
Use must comply with the AUP. We may suspend or terminate service for violations, non-payment, fraud, or threats to network integrity. We will give notice where practicable.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAULTLINE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
EXCEPT FOR LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW, FAULTLINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TO FAULTLINE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Dispute resolution
Most disputes can be resolved by contacting support. Disputes not resolved informally will be subject to binding arbitration in Pima County, Arizona, except where prohibited by law. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of signup by emailing legal@faultline.example.
