TUCSON, AZ — Funding to wire underserved areas of Cochise and Graham counties.

FaultLine Communications today announced the activation of new fiber rings across the Southwest corridor, bringing high-capacity service to an additional 12,000 homes passed in the quarter. The expansion includes new XGS-PON optical line terminals in Marana, Vail, and Sahuarita and supports the recent launch of the company's 5 Gbps Fiber Apex tier.

The buildout was funded from operating cash flow and represents the largest single-quarter footprint expansion in FaultLine's 16-year history. Installation crews completed roughly 480 miles of new aerial and underground fiber over the period.

"This is the result of two years of permitting work paying off," said Sara Chen, Chief Customer Officer. "We are seeing meaningful demand for symmetric multi-gig in neighborhoods we entered for the first time. Our installer wait list in Marana hit a record this quarter."
