TUCSON, AZ — We have finished the rollout. Here is what it means for customers.
FaultLine's engineering team has been preparing for the migration for over a year, completing per-node spectral profile updates and CMTS software upgrades to support the new specification. The trial is scoped to roughly 500 households over a 90-day window.
"DOCSIS 4.0 lets us bring multi-gig service to cable-served neighborhoods without trenching new fiber," said Marcus Hill, Senior Network Architect. "For many of our customers, that means faster deployment of higher tiers."
A formal product launch is planned for Q1 2025 pending trial results.
