TUCSON, AZ — How our field team handled three back-to-back outages in 48 hours.
Between Tuesday and Thursday last week, three separate weather events caused damage to FaultLine plant in Marana, central Tucson, and Sahuarita. Crews worked overnight shifts to restore service to roughly 7,200 affected customers.
"Spring storms are predictable in our footprint, but this set hit harder than forecast," said the operations lead. "I am proud of the crew. We will be running a postmortem on dispatch and parts logistics."
Customers in affected areas receive automatic service credits per the company's SLA. See /legal/sla for details.
